17th Street/Broadway Starbucks Car Crash

The Starbucks Coffee located at the corner of 17th Street and Broadway in downtown Denver. A car crashed into the building late Saturday night, April 13 that resulted in two people being seriously injured.

A car crashed into a downtown Denver Starbucks late Saturday night, resulting in three of the car's occupants sustaining serious injuries.

Speed and impairment are suspected causes of the crash, police said.

Police received a call of the crash at 11:43 p.m. at the intersection of 17th Street and Broadway, authorities said.

A car crashed into the front of a Starbucks at that corner, police said, adding that there was a significant amount of damage.

Four people were inside the vehicle during the crash, according to police, who later posted on social media platform X that three people were injured in the wreckage.

Authorities arrested a woman on three counts of vehicular assault as a result of three "serious" injuries, police said.

Police earlier said two people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash investigation remains ongoing.
