The body of a man missing since mid-March has been found near a Colorado lake in a state wildlife area.

According to the Eagle County Sheriff's Office, the body of Josue Isai Cruz Del Cid, 30, was found on the western side of Lake Christine by investigators on the evening of March 22. Aspen Trail Finder notes that this lake is in the Basalt State Wildlife Area in Basalt, Colorado.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the investigation and there is not believed to be an ongoing threat to the community.

The Eagle County Sheriff's Office thanked their partners at the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office, the Basalt Police Department, and Roaring Fork Fire Rescue for their assistance in the case, also sharing condolences for those impacted by Josue's death.
