Fireworks, BBQ cookouts, and all things red, white, and blue – it’s beginning to look a lot like the 4th of July! Colorado is one of the most fun places in the U.S. to celebrate America’s favorite holiday. From backyard cookouts to full-blown firework shows, Colorado has plenty of activities planned to celebrate this national holiday. 1. Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration

Where: Aspen, Colorado

From running races to arts and crafts, parades to picnics, this 4th of July celebration in Aspen is one that you won’t want to miss. The town plans to set off fireworks in dramatic fashion over Aspen Mountain at 9:15 pm, and if you’ve still got energy, head to the Belly Up for a Thievery Corporation concert late into the night. 2. Grand Junction Rockies Baseball

Where: Suplizio Field. Grand Junction, Colorado.

Take me out to the ball game at one of the most fun 4th of July celebrations in Colorado… The Rockies Minor League ball game, that is!     Where: Pueblo Riverwalk. Pueblo, Colorado.

    The Pueblo Symphony and locals meet at the scenic Pueblo Riverwalk for a night of beautiful sights and sounds at this 4th of July celebration in Colorado. Get there before 9:00 pm to snag a great seat for the firework show. Click here for more info!

    5. Fireworks Presented by Pepsi

    Where: Elitch Gardens, Denver

    6. 4th of July Fireworks at City Park

    Where: City Park, Fort Collins

    Your 4th of July celebration could start at 7:30 a.m. in Fort Collins with a 5K run, followed by a parade and picnic in City Park. Stay for the 101st Army Concert Band performance and fireworks. Click here for more info!
