PARKER — A California-based pizza restaurant will open its first location in Colorado this week, reports Denver Gazette news partner 9News.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza announced it will celebrate the grand opening of its first Colorado restaurant at 12239 Pine Bluffs Way in Parker, near South Parker Road and Hess Road.
The family-style pizza restaurant, which is now open, will hold its grand opening celebration from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17. Mountain Mike’s Pizza said it will celebrate with free pizzas, raffles, and games and activities for kids.
The restaurant is partnering with SECOR Cares, an organization committed to breaking the chains of suburban poverty, and will be donating 30% of all event proceeds to the organization.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza restaurant was founded in 1978 in Palo Alto, California. The company now has nearly 300 locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin and Colorado.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza has an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, big-screen televisions, a kids’ arcade and an outdoor-dining patio.

Whatever you may think of Californians, I lived there twice for a total of ten years and Mountain Mike's was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten in 66 years!
