Arvada is about to get Animal Style.

In-N-Out Burger, the popular California-based fast-food chain, is set to open its latest location in the city of Arvada. This latest restaurant will be this first of its kind in Arvada, but marks the 10th restaurant the chain has opened in the Centennial State.

"We’ve been privileged to serve our customers in this beautiful state for nearly four years, and we’re excited to welcome them to our newest Colorado location in Arvada," Mike Abbate, vice president of Store Development for In-N-Out Burger said in a statement to The Denver Gazette.

The chain has grown in popularity over the years, becoming famous for its fresh ingredients, fast and quality service, family-owned roots and its "not so secret" menu — which includes the popular "animal-style" burgers and fries.

In N Out Building Plan

Building plans for the planned In N Out location in Arvada, as submitted to the city.

According to public records from the City of Arvada, In-N-Out was approved for development permits in June of last year, while plans for the site date back to April of 2022.

Site preparation for the planned site of the restaurant — at the intersection of 52nd Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard, around 7370 W. 52nd Ave — began last November.

The restaurant will be part of the current Arvada Marketplace shopping center.

Plans for the site show that the restaurant will feature both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a drive-through. The location will feature a total of 53 parking spaces.

Abbate says an official planned opening date has not yet been announced, but construction "continues to advance" and "we look forward to joining the local community soon."

Construction timelines submitted to the city suggest that the project could be nearing completion for an opening date sometime this summer.

According to Arvada Planning Commission Chair Michael Griffith and CDOT data, the intersection of 52nd Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard is one of the two busiest in Colorado.

When it opens, the restaurant will be open seven days a week, operating from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
