There are still plenty of people that have beef with Coach Prime Deion Sanders and his son Shedeur Sanders, both in and outside of Boulder, Colorado. But Shedeur Sanders only partakes in beef of the finest quality (a.k.a. prime).

The starting quarterback of the Colorado Buffaloes football team recently revealed his favorite steakhouse, following the Buffs’ Black and Gold Day Spring Game last weekend.

“I don’t want everyone to go crazy, but Steakhouse 316. That’s where I am. The secret’s out, the cat’s out the bag,” Sanders said in a postgame interview with the Pac12 Network.

It's no secret that Shedeur Sanders has been one of the highest paid college athletes since the NCAA began allowing student athletes to benefit from their own name, image and likeness.

According to the On3 NIL 100, Shedeur Sanders ranks No. 1 in the nation in NIL valuation at an estimated $4.6 million in NIL value. On July 1, 2021, the NCAA approved name, image, and likeness policy allows student-athletes to monetize their NIL.

Boulder's Steakhouse 316 is reflective of Sanders’ affinity for the finer things in life, providing a luxurious dining experience that showcases both sophistication and exclusivity. The menu features big-ticket items like the $100 Bjork Kaluga caviar, a “Le 316” seafood plateau for $180 and two-person steaks such as the $120 porterhouse or the $140 tomahawk rib-eye. The full array of options can be viewed on their menu.

According to information from the Downtown Boulder Partnership, the restaurant, located at 1922 13th Street in Boulder, is set in a beautiful building from the early 1900’s which once housed Conor O’Neill’s Irish Pub.

A recent full buildout transformed the old pub into an elegant boutique and timeless venue. The lounge of richly toned reds, velvet seats, and sweeping Carrara marble bar leads the way to the banquette lined dining room with the fireplace centerpiece.

It all sounds like a winning combination. The real question, at least for CU fans, will be if the Buffs can match their record to their culinary tastes.

Hey! Maybe throw one of those $100 caviar plates out into the street as a treat for the homeless?
