It’s Sloth Weekend at the Denver Aquarium, and this means you’ll have a shot at meeting and interacting with a sloth named Aspen – you’ll have to wake up early though. Visitors to the aquarium will be able to stop by from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both Saturday, February 24, and Sunday, February 25, for a full-on sloth experience. One feature of event is a private meet-and-greet available for the first 100 guests each day, with tickets being handed out at 8:30 a.m. Be warned, reports indicate that lines for this exclusive experience have started to form around 2 a.m. in past years. Miss the private meet-and-greet? Sloth viewing will also be available for all come noon. Regular admission prices apply.

According to the zoo’s website,  private meet and greet sessions will also be available on other dates, including March 5th and March 12th. They’re available for 15 guests each day during this time, costing $150 dollars with reservations required. This experience consists of touching, feeding, and taking pictures with the sloth for 20-30 minutes depending on the sloth’s energy level and attitude.
