On Friday morning, Poudre Fire Authority responded to a report of a vehicle that had been submerged in Horsetooth Reservoir.

Not many details were initially released, but their crew had teamed up with Larimer County Rangers to investigate the situation.

At last update, the Larimer County Dive Team was working to access and search the vehicle, presumably to check if anyone was inside.

Horsetooth Reservoir is a popular outdoor recreation spot outside of Fort Collins. A road wraps around the eastern and southern side of the narrow 6.5-mile long half-mile wide body of water, though details were not released regarding specifically where the vehicle was found to be submerged.

This is a developing story. Updates will likely be posted here and this article may be updated as our team learns more about the situation.
