The Friends of Colorado Avalanche Information Center took to Facebook to share a video of an avalanche that occurred in Colorado, catching a person and pulling them down the hill.

Watch the video below to get a point-of-view look at what happens when an avalanche starts to slide and someone gets caught.

Avalanche danger has been high this year in Colorado. Check with the official CAIC forecast prior to planning any trips into the backcountry and know proper avalanche safety techniques.
