Bundle up, floating moviegoers. Floating Cinema set to kick off in the Mile High City of Denver this fall has officially been rescheduled for winter, according to festival organizers.

The new dates for the floating cinema, complete with "social distancing boats," will be Friday, January 1st through Friday, January 8.

The floating cinema will be made up of 12 to 24 mini boats, which hold up to eight people per boat. There will be free popcorn, plus additional snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Tickets will require floating moviegoers to purchase the entire boat for their group to allow for social distancing between parties.

The floating cinema will feature a mix of "golden oldies and new releases" with the official lineup expected to be announced when tickets go on sale. To pre-register, click here.

The specific location of the floating cinema has yet to be announced. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the floating cinema has also been rescheduled in other cities across the globe.
