Opened this month, the new 177-mile Denver Orbital Trail offers a new way to experience the Mile High City.

Making a full circle around the Denver metro area, the trail is split into 28 shorter segments, using a lot of pre-existing trails and traveling almost entirely off-road.

Spanning four counties, the route connects more than a dozen cities and towns, also creating a link between many other parks and greenways.

The routes varies between being paved path, gravel, dirt trail, and road. Trail difficulty ranges from easy to extremely strenuous. The longest segment is 'Segment 27,' which includes Majestic View Park, Ralston Creek Trail, and Blunn Reservoir. All segments have parking available.

Find everything you need to take this trail on here.
