Some people rejoiced, voicing their hatred for the statue, while others were up-in-arms about the alleged removal. We can assure you that it’s not coming down, at least not any time soon – according to an official spokesperson representing Denver International Airport.
At the moment, it’s unclear what the purpose of the post was – perhaps to get free attention for the newly formed Facebook page or simply to cause a stir on the internet. There was no mention on the page about posts being intentionally satirical in nature.
