Farmers' markets are incredibly diverse, offering everything from fruits and vegetables to homemade baked goods and crafts.

Here are six farmers' markets to check out across Colorado:

1. Boulder Farmers Market

Located in downtown Boulder, you'll find fresh healthy, and locally-sourced food at this farmers market. The market also features live music. On the second Saturday of each month, local artisans join the market and sell body care products, handmade clothing items and accessories, jewelry makers, and more. The market runs on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. from April 6 to Nov. 23 and on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from May 1 to Oct. 2.

2. Greeley Farmers' Market

With produce, honey, baked goods, and roasted chiles, this farmers market is located in downtown Greeley. The summer farmers market opens May 4 and runs every Saturday through Oct. 26.

3. Larimer County Farmers' Market

As it started in 1976 by volunteer Colorado Master Gardeners, this farmers market is a staple of Old Town Fort Collins. This farmers market supports local vendors and relies on volunteers. This farmers' market is open on Saturdays from May 18 - Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

4. Vail Farmers' Market & Art Show

This farmers' market consists of over 148 tents and 40 food vendors. The market also works to "have the majority of our vendors having made in Colorado artisan items and food. It runs on Sundays from June 16 to Oct. 6 in Vail Village.

5. The Farmers Market at Highlands Square

This farmers market offers everything from fruits and flowers to "puffy pastries" and "bodacious breads." It also includes ready-to-eat foods and live music. The Highlands Farmers Market runs on Sundays from May 19 to Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

6. El Pueblo Farmers Market

According to its website, this market is a "down-to-earth, diverse community spot who support local farmers and provide a taste of homegrown goodness to the greater Pueblo Colorado area."
