According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, a recent incident in which an alleged speeder was confronted led to a stabbing in the area of Dillon, Colorado.

The situation started when a man confronted someone who he believed to be driving too fast in the area of Dillon Valley. Upon hearing the man's complaint, an allegedly intoxicated passenger exited the reported speeding vehicle to charge the man.

The man who was being charged was able to trip the passenger, with this action presumably upsetting the driver of the alleged speeding vehicle.

That driver is reported to have then also exited the vehicle and allegedly interjected himself into the fight, pushing the man to the ground, kicking him, punching him, and stabbing him.

The stabbing victim was ultimately transported to Summit Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the incident, the sheriff's office launched what was described as a "major investigation." Multiple arrests related to the case took place the following day.

Authorities did not provide details of the suspects or a specific road where the incident took place.

Dillon is located near Frisco and Silverthorne in Summit County, home to around 1,000 residents.

That is fine but you'd better have the proper skill set before attempting any citizens arrests on your own or even with others.
