As a winter storm rolled through Summit County on Friday, it brought plenty of snow with it. This comes after a relatively dry few weeks have forced many resorts to push back their original opening dates due to lack of snow.

Among those to reap the benefits of the snow fall were Breckenridge Resort and Arapahoe Basin, reporting 12 inches of powder and 11 inches of powder, respectively. While both of these resorts were already open, lack of snow meant limited access to runs for early season visitors. Some expect the Friday powder to mean dropping lines on more runs.

Keystone and Copper also got a good amount of snow, reporting 8 inches at both resorts. Both of these resorts are also already open for the season with limited access.
