Seeking starry-night adventures? Here are a few of our favorite spots to go snow tubing under the stars in Colorado.
1. Echo Mountain
Count the stars with a nightly tubing session at Echo Mountain. Stargazing views of the Continental Divide can be enjoyed while sliding down six lanes of tubes, available Wednesday through Saturday until 7:00 PM or later. 2. Fraser Tubing Hill
Get ready for a starry night adventure of snow tubing at the Historic Fraser Tubing Hill. Located just minutes from the ski slopes of Winter Park, this tubing hill is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Tubing rentals are priced at $25 per hour or $30 for 90 minutes. 3. Colorado Adventure Park
Take a star-studded ride down the snow tubing slopes of Colorado Adventure Park, located about 70 miles from Denver. Owned by Winter Park, this tubing hill is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM for snow play. Concessions include wine, beer, hard seltzers, s’mores kits, and more. For single tubes, it costs $25 for one hour and $38 for two hours. For double tubes, it costs $40 for one hour and $68 for two hours. Find details here.
If You Go
Waterproof pants, jackets, warm layered clothing, snow boots, hat, gloves, and helmets are strongly recommended for tubers – day or night.
