Snow fell throughout Thursday in the northern and central mountains in Colorado and it looks like this weekend will bring more powder.

From Friday to Saturday, snow will fall on and off in the same area of Colorado, likely dropping several inches of snow, according to OpenSnow. Their report is showing Echo Mountain, Breckenridge, and Arapahoe Basin as top spots over the next few days. No resort is projected to get double-digit totals during this period. That being said, Winter Park did get two feet within the last 48 hours.

In Colorado Springs, there’s a 70% chance of snow overnight leading into a 50% of chance of snow throughout the day on Saturday. Projections call for totals up to 4 inches in the area. Sunday could reach a warm 62.

Denver is expected to get around an inch of snow over the weekend, with warmer temperatures on Sunday. Sunday in the Mile High City currently has a high of 65. According to the Denver Post, Denver is also expecting “thundersnow” on Friday.

On the Western Slope, Grand Junction will likely have a warm, dry weekend with clouds in the sky. Sunday temps could hit a high of 67.
