Later this month, there’s a lunar eclipse that will occur and you’ll be able to spot it in Colorado.

The celestial event will happen overnight between January 20 and the 21st, 2019. At approximately 7:30 PM Mountain Time, the event will start, lasting until 11:50 PM. The total eclipse will start at 9:41 PM and last until 10:43 PM. During this time of total lunar eclipse, the moon will turn a bright red-orange color.

While this lunar eclipse won’t be as disrupting as the past summer’s solar eclipse, it will be an event stargazers and photographers are sure to enjoy.
