Yampah Spa in Glenwood Springs offers soaking, steaming and spa services all under one roof. Two private, clothing-optional soaking tubs, popular with individuals and couples, are available at Yampah Spa. Cold-water taps allow you to adjust the temperature of the hot mineral water that fills the tubs. Rent one or both tubs for forty-five minutes as a stand-alone option or for thirty minutes before a spa treatment. Beneath the spa are the only known natural hot spring vapor caves in North America. Three underground chambers and a cooling area are lined with benches for comfortable steaming, but bring a towel if you want to cushion your head. Clothing is required so wear a bathing suit and flip-flops and keep your steams to ten minutes at a time so you don’t overheat. After your soak, steam, massage, or spa treatments, relax in a fluffy robe and take a nap in the solarium.
