A colorful and breathtaking display of hot air balloons will take to the mountain sky during the 36th Annual Telluride Balloon Festival. Set to take place on May 31st to June 2nd, 2o19, this popular event is definitely Colorado bucket list material!

Freshly-brewed coffee and donuts will also be available for purchase to help raise funds for the local school programs. For more info about the festival, check out the full 2019 Telluride Ballon Festival schedule below.

Friday 

8:00 am: A balloon demonstration for 5th graders will be held at the Telluride Middle School

Saturday

6:00 am: The hot air balloons will lift off at Telluride Town Park – arrive early and bring your cameras!

1:00 pm: Free photo workshop will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church by professional hot air balloon photographer, Paul D DeBerjeois

7:00 pm: Downtown Main Street balloon glow until 9:30 pm

Sunday 

6:00 am: Hot air balloon launch at Telluride Town Park

Please note, all hot air balloon activity is weather-dependent. Safety always comes first – high winds, rain, and storms create unfavorable conditions for hot air balloon launches and landings to take place. For more details on the 2019 Telluride Balloon Festival, click here.
