According to a news release by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, a 29-year-old man was put in the hospital on Thursday following a skydiving accident near Vance Brand Airport in Longmont, Colorado. The man was jumping with Mile-Hi Skydiving and was jumping alone.

At some point during the jump, the unidentified man went off-course, sailing into power lines located at a nearby farm. When the man was found, he was conscious on the ground with his parachute still tangled in the power lines. The power line was carrying 7,200 volts of electricity, but a fuse blew during the incident.

The man was transported to Longmont United Hospital due to a possible back injury.
