Skiers and snowboarders are thrilled to put their boots on and hit the slopes two days earlier than anticipated following a heavy snowfall in Breckenridge and Keystone. Both Colorado ski resorts received more than four feet of snow to start the season. With fresh powder covering the slopes, Keystone and Breckenridge made the call to open early for the first time in nearly a decade.
The early snowfall and perfect weather conditions also led Eldora mountain to open nine days ahead of schedule for the 2018-2019 ski season. If you’re eager to shred this ski season, grab your gear and head to the mountains. For more tips on planning your next adventure to one of Colorado’s ski resorts click here.
