The Ice Park is home to the internationally renowned Ouray Ice Climbing Festival and is often filled with climbers scampering up its walls with crampons and pickaxes on more than 200 named routes. If you’re able to try the sport out for yourself and end up in the bottom of the gorge, always keep an eye out for falling rock.
