Are you new to camping? Do you want a little more experience before striking out on your own?

Colorado Springs non-profit UpaDowna is hosting a free* (see additional cost details below) “Camping 101” class from September 12 – 13, 2019 in Cheyenne Mountain State Park. During the overnight course, they’ll be teaching those that attend the basics of camping, providing gear for the campers with the exception of personal items such as clothes and toiletries.

It’s sure to be a great hands-on and educational experience.

Lock down your spot here. Note that there is a $10 entrance fee into Cheyenne Mountain State Park for all visitors to the park. The camping class is free, though there is a $10 suggested donation. See full details here.
