Travelers should plan for up to 30-minute delays on eastbound I-70 in Colorado during the next couple of weekends as crews push to complete "much-need significant" repair work.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), deteriorated sections of pavement being replaced along eastbound I-70 near the I-76 exit in Jefferson County will cause weekend traffic delays.

There will be up to 15 minute delays during this coming weekend with more significant delays of up to 30 minutes expected for following weekends through at least August. There will also be lane closures over the weeknights, but with minimal impacts.
