The video below captures an altercation that was recorded at Mount Snow, a ski resort in Vermont. It shows an argument between two parties that gets violent, resulting in one skier being thrown to the ground by their head.
Presumably, something happened on the mountain that sparked the altercation, which then continued at the bottom of the slope. This video was initially uploaded on February 21, 2021.
Editor's Note: This video contains strong language and violence. Viewer discretion is advised.
It's unclear what the ultimate outcome of the encounter was.
While this footage was captured on the East Coast, Colorado has also seen its fair share of conflicts between guests on the slopes.
In one well-known January 2016 case, a man pushed a snowboarder off of the Loge Peak Lift at Aspen Highlands. The snowboarder fell approximately 20 to 25 feet, but landed in powder and was ultimately uninjured.
While on Colorado's slopes, it's important to be aware of other skiers and snowboarders. Many on-slope conflicts arise when people are partaking in unsafe behavior that impacts others, including traveling at excessive speeds. Stay under control and always give the people downhill the right-of-way. Be prepared for the unpredictable.

I don’t care who caused the accident. The kook in the basketball jersey would’ve been bleeding the snow. Keep your hands to yourself
