Traffic is stacking up on lanes of I-70 in Colorado following a rollover crash involving a semi-truck on Wednesday afternoon.

Eastbound lanes of I-70 are closed due to the rollover crash near the Beavertail Tunnel by the Cameo exit. According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the closure is located just two miles east of the town of Palisade between mile markers 45 and 51. Palisade is located just east of Grand Junction.

There is no estimated time for reopening. Drivers are being advised to seek alternate routes until the accident has cleared.

This is a developing story. More information may be added as it becomes available.

Check CDOT’s Facebook, Twitter (@coloradodot) or for closures and delays on highways and roads across Colorado.
