Colorado Sun reporter Jesse Aaron Paul took to Twitter on Wednesday at about 11:15 AM to report that a man had been arrested by police in riot gear at Little Cheesman park in downtown Denver. Paul reported "probably two dozen" police officers at the scene.

Details about why the arrest occurred are unknown at this time. This is a developing story. There was not a mass protest at the site at the time of the arrest, according to Paul.

Little Cheesman Park, also called Cheesman Esplanade, is a city-block-sized park located at 750 N Williams St. in Denver, Colorado.
