The Denver Police Department released photos Monday of a car involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run near Empower Field at Mile High last week.

Police said the hit-and-run happened on Jan. 6 just after 5 p.m. at the corner of Federal Boulevard and West 20th Avenue.

The driver was traveling northbound on Federal Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian walking in the roadway. The driver fled the scene without contacting the pedestrian or calling the police.

Police said the pedestrian suffered serious bodily injuries but survived.

The suspect’s vehicle, a white truck, is believed to have sustained damage to the driver’s side mirror.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
