Dubbed the Mustang Mountain Coaster, there's a new family-friendly attraction that's set to open in Estes Park, Colorado in May 2021.

The latest addition to a growing number of mountain coasters around Colorado, this thrill ride consists of approximately 1,000 linear feet of cable-pulled uphill followed by 2,000 linear feet of gravity-fueled descent.

According to the Mustang Mountain Coaster website, a variety of passes will be available. A single ride will typically costs $20, a 3-ride pass will cost $35, an all-day pass will cost $65, and a lifetime pass will cost $750.

Mountain coasters have become popular thrill rides in mountainous areas during recent years. Consisting of a cart that travels a gravity-assisted downhill track, users are able to apply handbrakes to control their speed and experience.

The Mustang Mountain Coaster is located at 1180 Dry Gulch Road in Estes Park, Colorado and, if all goes as planned, will be opening next May around Memorial Day Weekend.
