Colorado Springs police investigated a stabbing after a wounded man showed up at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central Monday evening, officers said.

Officers arrived at the hospital around 7:30 p.m. where the victim told police he was stabbed on Pikes Peak Greenway Trail near the 1200 Block of South Tejon Street, police said.

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound, officer said.
