UPDATE: Eastbound lanes have since reopened following the clean-up of the crash.
Traffic is stacking quickly in Colorado's high country due to a "major crash" that has shutdown eastbound lanes.
According to the Colorado Department on Transportation (CDOT), eastbound lanes of I-70 are closed at mile marker 180 due to a major crash on Vail Pass. There is no estimated time of opening.

Vail Pass is a high mountain pass that rises to an elevation of 10,666 feet in central Colorado.
Several other roadways across the state remain closed Monday due to wildfire activity. Here's a look at current closures as of October 19th.
