A website that specializes in home security, SafeWise recently published a list of the top 20 safest cities in Colorado for 2021, along with other related data points.

While results showed that Coloradans tend to be a little less concerned with their safety compared to those in other parts of the country, just 54 percent of residents report that they "feel safe and at home" in the Centennial State. It's also worth noting that approximately 40 percent of residents are concerned about crime happening to them on a daily basis.

Perhaps the most shocking data in the report is the number of Coloradans that are actually impacted by crime. According to Safewise, 11 percent of Coloradans experienced violent crime in the past year, along with 18 percent that report experiencing property crime. Another concerning stat is that one in ten Coloradans have reportedly experienced gun violence over the past 12 months.

With these crime statistics in mind, here's a look at the 20 'safest' cities in Colorado:
