Get ready to put a twist on your next movie night in Denver, Colorado.

A floating cinema, complete with "social distancing boats," is coming to Denver from Wednesday, September 2 to Sunday, September 6 – for six days only.

The floating cinema will be made up of 12 to 24 mini boats, which hold up to eight people per boat. There will be free popcorn, plus additional snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Tickets will require moviegoers to purchase the entire boat for their group to allow for social distancing between parties.

The floating cinema will feature a mix of "golden oldies and new releases" with the official lineup expected to be announced when tickets go on sale. To pre-register, click here.

The specific location of the floating cinema has yet to be announced. The floating cinema has also been scheduled in other cities across the globe.
