Fort Collins crash

Interstate 25 experienced significant closures and delays between Denver and Fort Collins on Tuesday morning.

All northbound I-25 lanes were closed at Mountain Vista Drive in Larimer County near Fort Collins because of a crash that killed one person, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.

The crash was reported just before 9 a.m. No immediate details about the crash were made available.

Another crash closed all right lanes in northbound I-25 at the E-470 exit in Broomfield. CDOT announced the crash just before 11 a.m.

Significant delays were expected, CDOT said.

Drivers were told to take alternate routes and avoid the area if possible. Further details about the crashes are unavailable.
