A recent analysis published by WalletHub states that Colorado has the 5th most coronavirus-related restrictions in the country as of July 20. This was based on 18 different metrics, including things like travel restrictions, temperature screening requirements, and what businesses have been allowed to reopen.
According to Diana Polk of Wallethub, two categories where Colorado has a lot of restrictions comparatively include the strictness of "shelter in place" orders and the rules around workplace temperature screening. Colorado reportedly has fewer restrictions comparatively in categories such as work from home requirements and travel.
The most restrictive state in the country is currently California, followed by New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. The least restrictive state is South Dakota, followed by Wisconsin and Oklahoma.
