Searchers believe they have found the body of Terry Pann, a 60-year-old hiker from Nathrop that has been missing for several days after going on a hike near the Three Apostles in Colorado.
Pann had been hiking alone between July 22 and July 25 at the time of his disappearance. A multi-agency team had been searching for him since, hindered frequently by inclement weather. Better weather conditions on Wednesday allowed for a more intensive search, during which a body was found.
The Three Apostles are a group of thirteeners near Huron Peak. The group consists of Ice Mountain (13,961 feet), North Apostle (13,860 feet), and West Apostle (13,568 feet). The body was found near West Apostle Peak.
The Chaffee County Coroner's Office will be performing an autopsy to confirm identity and cause of death.
