Three people are dead following a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Thornton.
One dead, another injured in overnight shooting in Denver
Officers responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of East 120th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in north central Thornton shortly after 1 a.m., said Sgt. Tom Connor, a spokesperson for the Thornton Police Department.
Police said three people in two of the five vehicles involved died during the crash, but there were no other serious injuries reported.
Information regarding the victims will be released at a later date by the Adams County Coroner's Office.

The intersection was closed for more than six hours while an initial investigation took place and reopened shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators believe speed is believed to have played a role in the crash, Barnes said. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor.
