New rules for Guffey Gorge in Park County have been enacted to manage the area’s growing popularity.

Visitors to the swimming hole – also known as Paradise Cove – are now barred from possessing or consuming alcohol, parking vehicles outside designated areas, playing amplified music or bringing unleashed pets.

New rules soon-to-be- implemented at Guffey Gorge.

A $6 per vehicle daily fee also will be charged.

Guffey Gorge has become a major destination for people from across the Front Range looking to cool off during the summer months.
