A new mountain coaster has opened in Steamboat and it’s sure to be a rush. At a length of 6,280 linear feet, it’s the longest coaster in North America. It’s also worth noting that it rises 40 feet above the ground and drops more than 400 feet throughout the track, built to please thrill-seekers and families, alike.
There are a few restrictions for this thrill ride that features waves, drops, and 360-degree circles, including a height restriction of 38 inches. Children smaller than that will have to watch from the sidelines. The cost is $15 for those under 7 and $20 for older children and adults.
