Currently in the works, the film “What It Takes” is all about Grand Valley’s epic mountain biking terrain. From flowing trails to breathtaking free-ride shots, this feature-length documentary captures it all.
Telling the story of a growing mountain biking culture in Fruita, Colorado, “What It Takes” looks at how this sport has shaped outdoor recreation in the surrounding area over the past few years, alluding to an even greater impact to come. Like several recent outdoor recreation film projects (Chris Burkard’s “Under an Arctic Sky,” for example), “What It Takes” has turned to Kickstarter for it’s funding. A $5 pledge get’s you a download of the full feature film when released.
