A tubing hill that stretches for 450 feet, the new family-friendly experience at Monarch Mountain is nothing to scoff at.

Opening on November 29, guests at Monarch Mountain will now be able to tackle an entirely different type of snow sport at the ski hill – down-hill tubing. This consists of hopping on an inner-tube and sliding down the hill at full speed.

While some people tend to assume that tubing is a “tame” experience, this is far from the case, as little control over speed and direction can make every slide down the tubing hill completely different.

The tubing park is open to all ages, but everyone riding must be at least 36 inches tall. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

According to a report by KOAA5, n hour of tubing costs $24 dollars, with each additional hour costing $14.

The tubing park is open from 9AM-4PM, Thursday through Sunday.
