As another winter storm moved through Colorado, major issues again impacted roads around the state.
One of the biggest wrecks of the day was when a semi jackknifed on I-70, as seen below in a Tweet from the Colorado Department of Transportation. The wreck occurred between Limon and Agate, blocking both lanes.

Other wrecks shut down lanes of I-7o throughout the day in various locations, including one in Rifle that shut down the entire east bound traffic flow.
I-7o wasn’t the only road impacted by the weather. I-25 faced high wind advisories and slick conditions, as well as lane closures. CO 65 was closed for avalanche control.
As you might expect, the bad road conditions will continue into the night in some areas. Use this link to stay up-to-date with the latest news directly from the Colorado Department of Transportation.
If you’re on the roads tonight, stay alert and be aware of conditions. Travel with extra layers of clothing, food, and water.
