Make your Valentine’s Day truly special this year by snapping on your skis, strapping up your boards, and getting hitched on the mountain in Colorado’s ski country.

Save the date for Loveland Ski Area’s 29th Annual Marry Me & Ski For Free Mountaintop Matrimony event, kicking off this Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 14, 2020.

Editor’s Note: This “ski-for-free” deal is a buy-one-get-one offer that allows one person of the couple to ski for free.

Love will fill air with a “mass wedding” ceremony taking place for couples getting married or renewing their vows at 12:00 PM outside the Ptarmigan Roost Cabin. A 12-minute lift ride will take you to the 12,050-foot cabin located at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at Loveland Basin.

Following the 30-minute ceremony, newlyweds can ski or board down the mountain for an after-party of cake, music, spirits, a raffle, and even a prize for the best-dressed couple. The slopeside celebration will take place at 1:30 PM at the base of Loveland Basin.

Participating couples that preregister for the event will be eligible for the 2-for-1 lift tickets the day of the event, a total of $89. Wedding cake, raffle tickets, and beer coupons will also be provided complimentary. Please note, preregistration ends on February 12, 2020.

Couples that are getting married are required to obtain a valid Colorado Marriage License and bring it with them to the ceremony to be signed. All wedding guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top of the mountain and then ski or snowboard down in order to attend.
