Following a viral video posted by CBS Denver on Sunday, a snowcat painted to look like the General Lee has been found. The vehicle went missing from the “Turn Table” parking lot in Minturn, Colorado. Minturn is located close to Vail, Colorado, and home to the popular ski trail called “The Minturn Mile.”

The snowcat was eventually found in Mesa County, hidden in a garage. Though the house was raided by local police and a SWAT team, the suspect was not located. Mesa County is home to Grand Junction, which is approximately a 2 hour drive from Minturn.

Here’s one video that was shared around the internet by CBS Denver, eventually leading to the discovery of the missing snowcat. It’s easy to imagine how difficult it must have been to steal and transport something so slow and noticeable.
