Hot Sulphur Springs Resort and Spa
Hot Sulphur Springs Resort & Spa offers a bevy of soaking options in northern Colorado. Located in the small town of Hot Sulphur Springs, the commercial site has nineteen individual, unique outdoor soaking pools—including one with a waterfall—and two indoor hot baths. In the summertime, an outdoor swimming pool provides a cool alternative. Clothing is required in the outdoor pools and optional in the indoor, private baths. The onsite spa offers a variety of massage services, body treatments, facials and waxing. Day soakers are welcome, but consider spending a night or longer in the 17-room motel, a private cabin or apartment. Accommodations are basic and smoking and alcohol are not allowed. This is a good place to relax and get away from it all for a while.
- Cooking isn’t allowed onsite at this hot spring, but you can get breakfast and lunch at nearby Glory Hole and lunch and dinner at Mama B’s Kitchen. The town of Granby is just a 15 minute drive east on US 40, with even more choices.
- If you prefer RV or tent camping, grab a spot at 80-acre Pioneer Park, located near the hot springs and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. There are 14 no-fee sites, plus a disc golf course, porta-potties, and lots of hiking and biking trails.
- Check out the Pioneer Village Museum located on Byers Avenue in Hot Sulphur Springs. Highlights include an historical ski display and 8,500-year-old artifacts from the Windy Gap archaeological dig.
