A dump truck struck a cyclist Tuesday afternoon, sending him to a hospital with life-threatening injures, Colorado Springs police said.

The crash was reported about 3:20 p.m. at East Fillmore Street and North Union Boulevard, where multiple lanes of traffic were blocked.

It isn’t clear if the cyclist or dump truck had the right of way, according to Gazette news partner KKTV.
