In the most recent update from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), it has been reported that 1,430 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Colorado. This is an additional 344 cases compared to yesterday. Prior days, the following number of cases were added in the daily report: 174 cases yesterday; 192 on Tuesday; 129 on Monday.

Throughout the state, 184 individuals are hospitalized and 24 COVID-19-related deaths have occurred, with five added to that list in the latest report. There have been 10,122 people tested, with the virus found in 39 of Colorado’s 64 counties. The report also made a point to mention that 9 outbreaks had occurred in residential and non-hospital care facilities. Note that CDPHE updates are reported a day late.

Gunnison, Eagle, and Pitkin counties have the highest rate of infection, with 331.92, 267.94, and 128.64 cases per 100,000 residents, respectively. Denver County has an infection rate of 36.50 per 100,000 residents and El Paso County has an infection rate of 19.18 per 100,000 residents.

  • 0-9: 1.33% (18)
  • 10-19: 2.66% (38)
  • 20-29: 14.13% (202; 4 hospitalized)
  • 30-39: 17.27% (247; 17 hospitalized)
  • 40-49: 17.27% (246; 25 hospitalized, 1 death)
  • 50-59: 17.13% (243; 40 hospitalized, 2 deaths)
  • 60-69: 14.06% (198; 34 hospitalized, 3 deaths)
  • 70-79: 10.14% (138; 29 hospitalized, 7 deaths)
  • 80+: 5.66% (70; 19 hospitalized, 11 deaths)
  • Unknown: .35%

When it comes to sex, male residents of Colorado have accounted for 49.09% of cases and female residents have accounted for 50.00% of cases, with .91% of cases unknown.
