A number of Colorado grocery stores and restaurants around the state have experienced outbreaks of COVID-19 among employees.

According to the latest reporting from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), there have been more than 100 cases (confirmed and probable) of COVID-19 across the state’s grocery stores and restaurants with three virus-related deaths among staff members having been confirmed.

Below you’ll find a look at which spots have confirmed outbreaks of COVID-19:

Editor’s Note: It’s important to mention that while outbreaks are being reported in restaurants and grocery stores, this isn’t a reason to panic. Determining where outbreaks have occurred allows the state and the business to react accordingly with the safety of customers and staff at top of mind. Many of the businesses listed below are taking recommended precautions to prevent further spread.

The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) Local 7 recently confirmed the passing of two employees due to COVID-19 at “King Soopers #29” located at 1155 E. 9th Avenue in Denver. Those deaths have not been accounted for yet in the state’s data. Read more here.
