For the first time in over a decade, the Dew Tour is headed to a new powdery destination.

After 11 years at the iconic Breckenridge Ski Resort, Copper Mountain will now be hosting the Dew Tour for the next 2 years. The 2020 Winter Dew Tour is set to take place from Friday, February 6, to Monday, February 9, 2020.

Here’s what fans can expect:

Some of the world’s best male and female skiers and snowboarders will show off their slope skills as they compete in individual halfpipe, slopestyle, and para-snowboard competitions during this four-day event. The festival will also include live music, a sponsor village, athlete photo-ops, poster signings, art, and more.

Past Dew Tour competitors include Olympic gold medalists and Dew Tour champions like Chloe Kim (USA), Nick Goepper (USA), Shaun White (USA), Red Gerard (USA), Gus Kenworthy (USA), Ayumu Hirano (JPN), and Amy Purdy (USA).

273 acres of new terrain on Tucker Mountain is part of Copper Mountain’s $100 million multi-year transformations. A new mid-mountain lodge is also expected to replace Solitude Station by the 2021-22 season. The 25,000 square foot lodge will be located at the top of the American Eagle lift and will include a full-service restaurant and bar, private dining, a cafeteria, and 180-degree views of the Gore and Ten Mile Ranges. A four-story hotel is also under construction at the resort.
